Help with Tuition to Save Mothers House

• Hi. My name is Dan and I am currently a student at The University of London. I am the oldest of three, all being raised by a single mother

• My mother is a very proud man who has always had a dream of all of us attending college. I have student loans that pay for nearly 1/3 of my education expenses. My mother has covered the remaining expenses

• My mother’s personal pride and beliefs would not hear of me getting a job to help pay my way, although I have done this without her knowledge. I know that my mother has gotten home equity loans to assist with paying tuition as well as bills, and during tshe holidays, I noticed the stress of paying these bills is starting to take it’s toll. To the point she faces loosing the house.

• Being my mother’s oldest son, I have reached a point where I cannot allow my family to suffer for the sake of me attending school. I have discussed quitting school until times are better but this discussion was quickly waved off as “not being an option”. My mother is unaware that I am requesting this aid and a part of her would die if she knew.

• I’m asking for help, not for me but for my mother. She’s always been there for us and has never asked for anything in return. Her dream is to see us finish college but I cannot allow her to put herself in debt to see this dream fulfilled.

Any help received will be used to pay for tuition, books, and aiding my mother maintain the household.
